Fruit of the day – Lemons

When life gives you lemons… take them, they are great! =D Make a lemonade out of it! =D Yes, lemonades are a great way to hydrate your body and give it a lot of vitamins and other components. Add some stevia sugar and add some water and it is going to taste sooooooo good!
I also use lemons instead of vinegar, so I usually use them when making salad dressing. It makes salad so much more delicious!

So what are the benefits of lemons?
– Strengthen the immune system, connective tissues, hair and nails,
– Encourage the production of stomach acid,
– Improve protein conditions in the body and vitalize,
– Improve utilization of iron for cellular respiration,
– Activated calcium metabolism for bones and teeth,
– Strengthen blood vessels and prevent bleeding gums,
– Foster the growth of cells and revitalize,
– Release fats and help in weight loss treatments,
– I just read today that it is scientificly proven that they destroy cancer cells (even better than chemotherapy and cancer drugs!)

Fruit of the day – Kiwi

Maybe I’m a bit late with this, because the season of kiwifruit is coming to an end, but better late than never. This fruit is really tasty and simple to consume. You can peel it or you can just cut it in half and use a tea spoon to carve the eatable part out. You pick what you prefer. I usually peel it and cut it on slices.
It’s recommended to eat about 2 or 3 kiwis per day, and I see this fruit is especially great for breakfast. It hydrates your body (your body dehydrates overnight) and gives you many vitamins for great start of the day.

So what are the benefits of kiwi?
– Protects your body from infections;
– Strengthens immune system;
– Contributes to bone growth;
– Stops gum bleeding;
– Helps with periodontitis;
– Accelerates muscle activity (especially heart muscle);

Fruit of the day – Banana

Ok, so it’s not really a season of bananas, because we always get them from other countries and so they are available in shops all year. But winter time is especially good for eating bananas. They are really great fruit and offer many benefits to your body. People that are very active include bananas on their daily menu, especially before workouts. But be careful – you’re not supposed to eat bananas that are still green (that’s what you often see in supermarkets), this fruit is meant to be eaten when it’s yellow. Also this fruits are often sprayed with pesticides, so it’s better to wash them, even though you peel them before eating.

So what are the benefits of bananas?
– Prevent and have healing effects at high blood pressure;
– Reduce strokes;
– Drain liquid out of the body;
– Reduce body weight;
– Detoxify body;

Fruit of the day – Orange

It’s season of oranges, so it’s time to write something about this great fruit. When you’re buying oranges it’s important that you wash them with water and some baking soda, because usually they are sprayed with different insecticides. Or just buy bio oranges and avoid these problems.
I’m sure there is a lot more that could be written about this fruit, but here are just some well known facts, that some maybe don’t know yet.
