Vegetable of the day – Broccoli

And you know when you were a kid and your parents forced you to eat green vegetables? Well probably broccoli was one of them. No wonder, because it’s a great source of vitamins, fibers and minerals. But be aware that if you boil it for more than 5 minutes it loses many of these things. It’s better if you steam it, because that way it keeps all the things. I would recommend steaming for about 15 minutes for the best taste.

So what are the benefits of broccoli?
